The dust bin should last about 30 loads, or about two months, and you'll have to replace the filter once every few months (which is actually recommended by iRobot). The iRobot S9+ is not very noisy when it operates making it a great option for families with pets or children.

This robot isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we tested but it does come with the essentials. It has a huge enough dust bin to hold a lot of dirt before it's time to empty it and its vacuum and mop system is great for carpets with low pile and hard floors. It's also very quiet and we were able to sit and watch TV while it was cleaning without feeling like it was blasting us with the sound.

It did a good job cleaning pet hair, messes and carpeting however, it was more difficult in getting rid of stains that were stubborn. The app was easy to use and user-friendly.
